About me & those who profess Jesus Christ in truth... CLAY: signifies the reality of man in the hands of a Mighty God, even Jesus Christ. The believer has come to the realization that God is the One who created us and all things. And it is ONLY by Him that we are shaped and molded into what He desires. Our faith is only in Him, not ourselves. Isaiah 64:8 But now, O LORD, thou [art] our father; we [are] the clay, and thou our potter; and we all [are] the work of thy hand. Also see Romans 9:20-21 & Jeremiah 18:6. SOLDIER: description of a believer who stands on a firm foundation, being Jesus Christ. He or she has been chosen to fight the good fight of faith. A soldier of this army is one who is in the midst of battle in the world, yet he or she realizes that Jesus Christ has already won the war. 2 Timothy 2:3-4 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
